Your questions answered
Made in the UK using high quality food grade silicone. While some companies choose to manufacture overseas, we will always produce our straws here in the UK. Ours are made and hand packed here in the UK.
The short answer is yes. High quality silicone straws made from food grade silicone are considered safe for both adults and children. Unlike metal or glass, they are gentle on teeth and can withstand a little chewing, which makes them a practical option for children.
Each straw can be washed with warm soapy water and a straw cleaning brush or placed in the dishwasher. We always recommend using a cleaning brush for a thorough clean, especially after thicker drinks like smoothies.
They can, but only in the same way a water bottle, coffee cup lid, or even cutlery can if it is not washed. When they are cleaned and dried properly, there is no reason they should harbour more bacteria than anything else in your kitchen.
Yes, and this is something our customers talk about a lot. Silicone is soft and gentle on teeth and gums. For people with braces, reusable silicone straws can help you sip drinks without worrying about damaging brackets.
You can slip the tin into your handbag, gym bag, or glove compartment and always have your straw with you. The travel tin keeps your straw clean and protected.
They cannot simply be placed in your household recycling bin. We have partnered with TerraCycle, so any straws returned to us are recycled here in the UK. Simply send us an email with the subject "Straw Recycling" to [email protected] and we will reply with the address and any details you need to return your straws.
We accept returns on unused and unopened reusable straw products, in their original condition. In line with UK regulations, you have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Please contact us at [email protected] with your order number, the item you would like to return and a brief reason for the return.
